Bob Grubel is a singer and songwriter with 9 recorded cd's of his own music to date. His latest is Dance When Your Soul Brings You Near, which was released in late 2006. Bob released a "new age" instrumental cd Rivers From The Sun in 2005, with intricate and beautiful melodies performed on piano,keyboards, Lakota flute, recorder and harmonica all played by Bob, with the exception of one track performed by Grace Note. Bob's main instruments are the piano, which Bob plays with a distinctive funky/smooth character that has emerged as Bob has grown as a performing songwriter, and his voice which he stretches in every performance. Grace Note has been performing for audiences since the late 80's with Bob Grubel and Tom Williams as the core musicians and several other performers joining their talents along the way. Currently the group consists of Bob on keyboards,guitar, and lead vocals, Tom on acoustic guitar, native flute, percusssion, and vocals and Jack Bagby on bass and vocals.
